Default 1st log Type R - 08-24-2020, 12:51 PM

Just received my JB4 in the mail and within half an hour im going for a test drive.
Stock type r on 93+1 gallon of E85. I started with map 1, couldn't really feel much of a difference. Tried map 2/3 and it felt like a shot of nitrous hit around 4k. It is 92 degrees out right now so Id like to make sure the log looks okay. I think the car was getting heat soaked, as the "shove" around 4k wasn't consistent.
I would like to try map 4 & 5 asap as I have e85 available.

p.s. one thing I noticed is the app kept disconnecting from the program and I had to keep reconnecting. I have the jb4 connect facing the driver. Does it need to be zip tied to the unit?

Thanks

Let's up the E85 mix to get octane higher to around 30% E85.

Map3 is going to be too strong, map1 might be the best fit. So log map1 and map2.

On the app email support@jb4connectkit.com if you need help on that front.

I believe I added too much ethanol which could explain the breaking up on top end. I have 5 gallons of E85 and 7.4 gallons of 93. Tank size is 12.4
I will try to burn some off and add more 93.
Ordered a ethanol test kit
