Default Redsport Map 6 91oct/100oct 30%mix - 08-17-2020, 05:13 PM

Can someone check my logs to help make sure things are running fine. I think it's ok, only thing i'm questioning is the lean spike in 1st gear. I'm not sure how to read igns, whether they are ok or not.

80 degree weather @ sea level
Runs A&B (fuel wires are on)
Runs C&D (fuel wires are off)

Map 6 values:
1500 +1.5
2000 +2.5
2500 +3.5
3000 +4
3500 +5
4000 +5
4500 +4
5000 +3.5
5500 +3.5
6000 +3
6500 +1
7000 +0

*had the logs mixed up with fuel wires being "on" or "off" before. they are correct now.

Only log D looks like the FW are actually on and working lol. Timing is too low for my taste but it doesn't look like knock.

thanks. how can you tell the fuel wires are on and working? By looking at "fuelen"? that is weird because I totally had them on for the 1st 2 runs and off for the 2nd two.

Also, for ignition timing, which field are you looking at? ign 1, avg ign or ign 4?

When the FW are on, your AFR will stay VERY level in the low 12 range, depending on octane, but it won't move around over a point and drop down into the 10's. For timing only look at ign 1.

thanks bro I appreciate it. you are correct about which log had fuel wires on or off. I rechecked the jb4 app, just updated the OP with the correct logs.

BTW, what values should be good or safe ignition timing values?

I don't like seeing below 5 degrees even if there are no sharp drops. It's an indication of the ECU keeping timing very low because you're on the edge
