Hi all, I finally found some time today for a few logs with the Pure Stage 2 hybrid turbos that were installed just a few weeks ago. Per the Hybrid initial setup guide posted by Terry, I set FF RPM gain off (FUD bit 6) and a duty cycle ramp from 50 to 64 per outlined default settings. This seems to have fixed my issue with JB4 jumping to map 4 due to overboost, but it has not completely corrected the initial overboost as you will see in the logs. To me this doesn't look too bad, but I am not sure if this should be better, and unclear on additional adjustments I should make.

Attached are two short logs in Map 2, pump gas. Please let me know what you think!

To me ignition looks funky. Should avg ign be that high for pump gas 92 oct?

Timing doesn’t look great in general.

Do you have access to any better fuel?

The gas is pump 92 oct from Costco, surprised its struggling so much with only 17 psi. Dave, before the Pure turbos went on and I was still running the stock ones you were able to help me narrow down my timing issues were remedied by adding a few gallons of E85. This helped with the erratic timing across cylinders. However, if I remember correctly my avg ign was still around 4 in map 2 even with 3 gallons of E85. I feel like something else must be contributing to the timing problems. My next steps will to replacing plugs and running a compression test. E85 is hard to get, about an hour drive. I was hoping for better pump performance, don't most N54 run Map 2 on pump with decent timing?

Should I be resetting any adaptations now with the new turbos, or when I am switching up the fueling?

after adding some e85 you should do a few adaptation pulls before taking and actual log. to get the avg ign down try adding a little more E85. I run E30 / E35 mix and my avg ign using Costco 91 is 0.4, watch your FP_H and FP_L under full load when you mix E85 make sure they're keeping up

Need to remember 17 psi on Pure’s is a lot more power than 17 on stock Turbos

You can replace plugs if you want, gap accordingly
