Trims are pretty high. Do you have the FF wires installed? If so, raise your FOL to 60.

Sorry I'm brand new to this. Flex fuel wires? No, I've read that E85 is not recommended for B58 engines. My hope was to keep this as stock as possible.

So, is this not safe to run long term? Or do I just need to continue to log and make sure the fuel trims do not hit the maximum value of 50?

I guess Map 2 is out of question, given how high fuel trims are on Map 1?

Installing FF wires is no more intrusive than installing a JB4, you're just adding one more plug and play connector. I'd recommend adding them and setting FOL to 60.

Thanks, Steve. I only see a flex fuel wire set for sale for N55. I have a 2016 with a b58... is it the same wire set?

Once installed will I need to suppelent with E85 every fill up? If so, how much?

Finally, Im using the phone app with a bluetooth connection. Where do I go to set FOL to 60?

No...you don't have to run E85 with FF wires. Select the drop down menu.

Ok, so should I get the N55 set or is there a different one used with b58?

Also, when I go under User Adjustment, Fuel Open Loop is currently set to 0. You're suggesting I change this to 60 once flex fuel wires are installed; however, shouldn't there be a higher value in there as of now?

Thanks!

Funny right on that page it says flexfuel are included in the current harness .... but seems that is wrong also...

Also no instructions where you plug it in...at least none I could find..

wonder how many sales are lost due to not having a simple FAQ page or comprehensive manual.

I'm one who has been lurking for a while...waiting to see when These last few questions are answered.

This is a B58, so generally speaking trims will be higher and while we have an FF harness available it's generally only suggested for those experimenting with high E85 mixtures and/or larger turbos.

This log is pretty par for the course for a B58 PPK on map1. If OP wants to experiment with E85 I'd try maybe 2 gallons and evaluate it.

Thanks, Terry.

Once the flex fuel wires are installed, do I just the change the Fuel Open Loop in the app (under User Adjustment) from 0 to 60?

Will that work for all ranges of fuel from 100% octane to some E85, or will I need to adjust this value in the future?

Noted...our B58 will be ready for some testing soon and you know we'll experiment with E85 and get that and the large turbo dialed in.
