Default ACF 6266 + Meth Dyno - 05-11-2017, 03:55 PM

Hey guys,

Had a chance to tune a customer car today running an ACF 6266 twin scroll kit, 50% E85, WMI with dual CM10 nozzles. Manual trans and the usual bolt on mods. Overall a fairly inexpensive and simple setup. Tuning via JB4 and BimmerBoost back end flash map. Running map8 progressive meth safety map with a 65 additive.

As you can see the limiting factor was fueling... Port injection in this cars future. Easily another 50whp in this little 6266 G2 and it spools really well.

Also the customer did not like the linear throttle mapping we have in our default maps so I gave him a more aggressive non-linear mapping. I'm going to be adding it to the default maps as a map option but if anyone does not like the linear mapping we have now in the single turbo firmware drop me an email and I can shoot over a more aggressive mapping you may prefer.

Nice results. That's a pretty sweet set up for the money. Anxiously awaiting results for the upcoming bottom mount acf kit.

Nice numbers!

Terry, I'll be running Stage 3 turbo in less than month. Do you have that same firmware for N55 E series?

6266 is an excellent turbo.

With some additional fueling, I'd imagine this setup will be able to carry the torque curve a little higher in the 4200 - 5300 rpm range as well.

If they add additional fueling to allow full e85 I bet things would get really interesting up top

And with MHD's new option coming to allow linear map scaling between a 100% e85 map and a full pump gas map....

Back in the day before PI came out this was how we did it. Lots of meth. If this car had race gas instead of E50 could probably support 750whp.

Not necessarily linear...you can have it scale however you want. Also, it allows for separate interpolation for fuel, vs. timing, vs. load, etc.

Enjoying the new tables discovered and the XDF progress made? if you'd like. Every bit is appreciated!

I can interpolate on a parabolic curve? Mind blown.
