Default MHD_E85 - MAP7 Logs - 10-26-2016, 07:20 PM

Hey there here are my first logs with MHD BEF. Seems much smoother so far. Going by date and time, the first one is the very first WOT on flash. Seems like it got better with a few pulls.

Was a lot of traffic so hard to do good pulls. This is full tank of E85.

Flash took 30min.

Been going back and forth with Terry with some test firmware and other changes. Logs attached to show where it is right now.

Run's much much better then stock. It was grumpy with 100% E85 before. No more crazy revs and loud starts. Just starts right up and runs like a Prius (never thought I'd say that's a good thing). It pulls much smoother and cleaner, especially in lower revs.

Still not sure how my car does so well with stock fueling with E85. I noticed on pump it says E51-E84...so maybe have just been getting bottom of the barrel junk E85 since April.

I was going to ask what fuel upgrades you're on; running that much boost on 100% e85 had me wondering, as well.

I noticed your LPFP values are pegged at 87; just wanted to see if you have noticed or addressed the reason why. Mine are currently pegged at 84 on the gauge and logs, due to a bad LP Fuel Sensor. I also have a 29F3 code for it; have you checked for that? It seems a lot of guys in the past with a bad sensor didnít notice a decline in performance, while others had fueling issues. From my research, it sounds like the LPFP will back down flow, which can starve the HPFP and cause rough idles, long crank, etc. Again, just wanted to bring it your attention.

I don't think those numbers mean anything on N55 ISO.

That I don't know. Steve can confirm that.

N55 doesn't have an LPFP sensor...those numbers don't mean anything.

OP is running the old style HPFP and isn't making over 400whp, so the stock HPFP can keep up with that. 2012 or new...not so much as they have the newer HPFP.

Thanks for clarification Steve.

My apologies OP; learn something new every day.

Terry has been hard at work.

Car is pulling harder and cleaner. Couple logs as of today, with new JB4 ISO firmware.

Looks pretty clean, turbo is maxed out. We've been working on the new MHD BEF so there will be a new version soon.

Very cool, I'm ready to try it.

Trying to do a virtual dyno. Everything is inputted correctly, including temp, gear ratios etc. Only thing is I'm not 100% sure on total weight.

But if true...but log used was also on a very slight incline as well I just realized.

Need to spend a little more time with it and get it on the dyno. Currently concentrating on the M4 so it may be a week or so before we are done with it.

Looks like you're exceeding the torque limit. Which flash are you running...did you get an updated one?

Cyl1 is logging at a faster rate than 2-6 currently. You can see cyl1 ramping from 5 up and it seems the 2-6 logging is just delayed a second on spool up there. When you hit a torque limiter on these timing drops negative in all cylinders OR it just misfires badly as DME BT suddenly drops towards zero.
