Default BMS F Series N55 Aluminum Intake - 12-31-2018, 11:03 AM

Hey guys,

By popular demand we've made a few aluminum F_N55 intakes. Will post some in car photos next week. Although I personally prefer the plastic intake we've had customers request these so figured why not. Price will be $199.

No idea, we don't have an M2 at the office. Sorry!

Just curious, why do you prefer the plastic one over the aluminum?

Probably better thermal isolation, but apparently the maf location is molded better on the plastic one. But I prefer the metal because it doesn't heat warp as easily, and imo looks better.

No idea, but it was requested by a few customers. And we aim to please. We run the plastic BMS intake on our F30.

I definitely will, once the m2 is confirmed! But judging by the predevelopment photos it looks like it's a tight fit near the m2's strut brace due to the way the tube angles, the plastic intake fits the m2 because the fitler is oval.

I'd love to maybe help you guys test it out if you could maybe hook me up a bit, incase it doesn't fit I won't get stuck with an intake, and could recoup a bit with resale here, because a return shipment to the USA from where I live in Canada could cost near $100+.

IIRC it's 3" piping. Not at office to check.
