Default NFZ AZ 1/2 Mile ZCP M4 -JB4 - Meth 50/50 - E43 results - 10-11-2016, 10:46 AM

I had a chance to see what the M4 ZCP, with JB4 and Meth could do at the NFZ 1/2 mile event in Arizona last weekend. Tony at Omega always puts on a good show, and everyone who worked the event was extremely nice and kept things moving, which is not easy especially having to deal with working in 100 degree weather on a runway, props to all of you! I got a chance to meet and hang out with some really cool cats, Steve and Sam from Fuel-it, Jesse and the guys from Pure Turbos, as well as Tony from Vargas.

The car did very well, especially when you compare it to other cars that ran that day, Terry really has the car dialed in, thanks brother! It was very hot 95-100 degrees, even with the heat it was difficult to get traction in 1-2 of course, but I managed to hit some solid trap speeds with just the JB4, Meth 50/50, and ~E43 fuel.

My best trap was 161.7, I hit 160MPH at least 3 times, my lowest was around 155, that was with MDM TC on.

List of other cars trap speeds that day -

Lambo Huracan - 149MPH
C7 Z06 - 153MPH
991 GT3RS - 139MPH
F10 M5 Tune - 152MPH
Audi R8 Tune/ Exhaust - 143MPH
991 Turbo S Stage 2 Tune /Intake /Plenum - 166MPH
997 Turbo S Stage 2 Tune /FBO 165MPH

Here's the slip from the 161.7 run

Meth and BMS charge ***** added -

Latest Dyno with this setup

I wish I'd gotten a chance to run more cars head to head, but it is what it is, at the next 1/2 mile event at Shift-S3ctor in a few weeks, I know a lot more people with specific cars I'd like to run, and will get more vids then.

Awesome meeting you Steve, I had a great time chatting with Sam as well, hell of a cool ***, and great work out there, once that M4 is dialed in, the limiter removed, your car will trap over 170. You coming to Shift-S3ctor this following weekend?

Possibly. I had a 00 A4 1.8T stage 3 back in the early 2000s, hence the juvenile username haha. It has stuck and it is what it is. What did you drive back then?

Doesn't sound like Shift Sector is as good of a venue. We'll be at NFZ AZ on December 17th and may do NFZ CA November 5th...undecided on that one thus far.

Actually it's a great venue, there are a TON of cars at the level of WHP that would be solid runs and good vids for the Fuel-it M4 and 135i there, the only problem is you most likely won't get as many runs.

Back on the Audizine forum days, I had an A4 1.8T with an APR Stage 3, then saw the light and got a E46 M3, and never looked back.

Haha, yea I went to an Evo from my A4. Best decision ever. I was still in Auburn with APR and I would crush the stage 3 1.8Ts with just a flash and exhaust on my Evo

It's a lot of fun and great for marketing. But not so great for tuning cars... Since you don't get very many chances at the runway.

SS is like a Mustang Dyno compared to NFZ which is a Dynojet...

SS traps will be slower as it's shorter overall. Nevertheless both provide relative measure on a given day.
