Bmw 320i 2014 best fuel for making power safely -

What is the best fuel or aditive that i can use for making more power safely, or boost the octane, i have a jb4 with flex fuel conector, should i run ethanol?if yes what blend? I dont think that i can run more than 40% ethanol, I see vp racing fuel octane booster, ....
