Default JB4 & E85 - 07-20-2021, 07:24 PM

Newbie here so please donít roast me.
So I installed my JB4 on my F33 and wanted to use E85 fuel, do I need to still install more modifications to my engine or I just need to go to the JB4 software and activate the E85?
TIA

Depending on actual power being made, you can run up to about E30 with no additional hardware but I would recommend running our flex fuel kit to monitor the actual ethanol content and integrate with the JB4.

Do I need to activate anything on the JB4 app?

is there a way to adjust the e85 display? my JB4 reads 30, while the fuel-it app says 32. is this a big deal or does one need to be adjusted? or is there a way?

No a big deal...it's an analog input for the JB4 so resistance can affect the reading a little.

Sorry to hijack the thread but does the e85 column on the JB4 log an actual reading of the ethanol too or just numbers…. Thanks in advance!

For an actual ethanol reading, you will need to have a flex fuel kit installed.
