X3M -
04-13-2019, 09:49 AM
Terry any plans to get a X3M or X4M when it comes out to get a jump on S58 tuning? It's looking like a X3M will replace my M3 when my lease is up in December.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wait, since SpecialtZ only has a RWD dyno. ;-p
I would imagine they will be happy to take a customer car to to early development. But from a long term development standpoint there will be too few people buying an X3M to justify that as a long term company car. I am sure they will order an M3/4 when available, as that will have the most people who will have one who will also likely want supplemental and supporting mods.

We're actually working with a few people on the S58.
Once we have a beta system running you we'll post the results and ask for a few early adopters

Stock run. Had to hit the brakes right before the 1/4 mile which killed the mph. Should run 117mph off the brakes. New engine is strong. This is a race weight of 4435lbs + 210Lbs = 4645lbs. Not bad. Actual DA was 4100ft.....not the +6000ft Dragy shows.

Do you have Dragy in your glove box instead of front windshield?

We have a JB4 BETA in the works for the S58. So far Fuel-IT's X4 has run 11.08 with it. Another week or two of testing to do and then we'll launch a public BETA for it.

The calculated DA by Dragy is jacked up. 6031FT calculated - 2067FT MSL = 3964 FT......the 3964FT is much closer to my weather stations. Dragy is adding the MSL back into the equation incorrectly.

I am super interested in this. Where is most of the talk happening on s58 development? Having a hard time finding people talking about it on the usual forums. If this thing can be flashed to 100% e85, it could be a 130mph suv with ********* and a tune. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Fuel-IT is still evaluating the fuel system on the car, we'll see what can be worked out once the back end flash can be added too.

Well, I'm working a deal on one as we speak. I miss my old X1 that I trapped 117mph with.....My M2 is fun, but it just can't make that kind of power easily.
130mph trap with AWD sounds like a nice daily to me.
