My shop told me today that it would be just over $7k installed for new turbos and oilpan gasket. Also need to diagnose a front end suspension issue.

This is the only shop I've ever brought my e60 to, and have always had a great experience. They've even given me a few freebee's over the years when I suspected something was wrong. I can tell they're enthusiasts as well and I have no reason to not trust them. But, dayum.

I have yet to go in and look at the quote in detail, but I told them to write it up with everything needed. On the phone they said new BMW turbos would be over $3k alone. (may get the VTT's on sale for $1600, but still). So that leaves $3.5k in labor? 35hours? Or are there so many gaskets, hoses, oil lines etc that should be replaced as well, which are driving up the cost?

What have been others experience, given this is all wheel drive.

Anyone know of another reputable shop in CT?
