Default Jb4 installed car acting up - 04-19-2018, 12:48 PM
Bought a jb4 on a different forum, installed it just as described online went to start the car and it idles horribly had like 12 codes on..removed the jb4 and the car was back to normal. Any ideas of cause or how to fix thi issue?

Would need install photos, code listing, JB4 log, etc, to offer any advice.

That's not a log as there are no values. Update your firmware and post a log.

Sorry im new to all this havent even driven the car with the jb4 on it because it stalls out

still acts up did as you said and get these codes :
3100 low boost mode engaged -- CEL displayed
2CF6 Throttle valve potentiometer 1, plausibility with regard to air mass

If installed properly, could be a bad board. You can purchase a replacement board at burgertuning.com

Have you verified they are all properly seated at the DME?

I don't see anything obvious but when purchasing a used board and wiring harness, it's hard to say what the issue may be.
