Give me some input on 7.5" RACE intercooler for stock turbos -
01-26-2018, 08:32 PM
Pushing stock turbos to the limit and the 7" i have now is just not enough. Will the 7.5" RACE be too big for stock turbos? Any cons of having one with stock turbos? I do have few track events and i think this will be a game changer for long sessions reducing timing drops and knock.

Well I kind of think you already decided before this post but if your 7" isn't cutting it, you either have to go bigger or do something like meth to keep IAT's down.

Stock twins are very inefficient at the power level people like to run them these days, so actually a bigger fmic will benefit then more than a big single that is being run within it's efficiency island.
