Default n55 map 5 overboosting - 01-23-2018, 12:03 PM
2011 n55 335i: AR c@tless ********, jb4 map 5, running a little less than e40.

Why is my car overboosting? Recently uploaded the newest firmware before I filled up with this recent tank of e40. Not sure if that has anything to do with it

Why are you running E-series firmware on an F-series board?

I was sent this board from BMS as a replacement for my original E-series board

A little overboost, lower your FF to 60 and raise your FOL to 70.

everything looks a lot better, but I'm getting a consistent overboost on tip in. Is it something i should be worried about or anyways to remedy it?

That is pretty minor....you can attempt to eliminate it with DB tuning but I don't know that it's worth it.
