Default What should be my next mod? - 06-29-2017, 10:20 AM

Hi all,

I wanted to see what you all think my next mod on my 2010 535xi should be. I already have DCI and an MHD flash. I was thinking either *** or FMIC.

Thanks

I assume you already have a metal charge pipe. If not, that should be the first mod on your list
Coatless dawnpips really open up the ability to increase boost. VRSF's pips are cheap and fitment is perfect.
If you have the funds, get VRSF's HD intercooler. Not all FMIC's are created equal, there are many factors that affect an FMIC's functionality. VRSF's HD FMIC has been proven by many members through many logs to work very well.

Who sells a good quality metal charge pipe?
I thought the only company that makes ***, that fit without any modifications, for the 2010 535xi would be the AR design?

I'm looking to purchase a charge pipe using the stock diverted valves. Can someone please let me know who sells a charge pipe that will fit the E60 model? I know ER makes one but are there other options?

Welcome to the small but friendly modified E60 535i club! :D

VRSF **'s next ( they make them 535i RWD, not sure on Xi/AWD)
then FMIC (not 7" VRSF, I have it and don't think it cools as well as other options)
then LPFP upgrade, Stage 2 or higher
Then start saving for turbo upgrade

And why not a JB4 + MHD BEF, instead of just MHD?

Only reason I bought a charge pipe was so I could run TBI (needed bung for Hobb's switch). The stock plastic CP and DV's worked great on my car, all the way up to FBO.
