Default Stock turbo dyno results 502whp 564tq - 02-12-2017, 03:00 PM

Hey guys i don't post often but wanted to share my results since i know alot of stock turbo guys want to hear customer testimony on 500whp stock turbo. First off i wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to ken@wedgeperformance. Without this guy none of this would be possible. Ive had a ton of problems with the car from boost leaks to blown ecu to fuze blown for 02 which made me think i would never be able to attain these results. But finally all the stars aligned and here we are.
We did a few dyno runs. The first one car made 490whp and i was ready to leave rite there tbh. I couldnt belive the car did that just driving up. A few tweaks later it went to 491,493,496 and finally 502. Also the 496 made 590tq.

nice numbers but I hate to say it, you won't be breaking 1/4 mile times with a 6MT. They just don't shift smoothly and carry power from gear to gear well enough.

Hey I'm cheering for ya, but even with recent "shift bog" fixes these cars still don't like banging gears very well.

Oh I'm sure there is nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to see what kind of timing, boost, fuel pressure, and AFR you are running so I can compare to mine. You are making awesome power in stock turbos!!

Nice numbers! Good luck in the 1/4 mile. Like someone else mentioned, good luck. Coming from a guy with a 6MT 135i - my best is 12.2 @ 124mph with a 2.1 60ft on street tires.

Doing it once is nothing. Do it again and again will show you need hybrids for 500whp. There's going to be alot of backpressure and other stresses placed on the car.
Hopefully not too much advance and lean AFRs as well.

What are the "Maximum PSI inlets"?
On their site I just find DCI. And being I've never seen that much from stock inlets I'm a bit skeptical. Must be something else I'm not finding?

Dynos can vary a lot. I dynoed 450whp with about 23 psi and 13.5 degrees advance.
I doubt 502 very much, even running more (dangerous) advance. I ran 11.79@119. Let's see this car go low 11s then I'll believe 502...
