Default 30be code - 09-20-2016, 01:39 PM
as title say i got a 30be code, car runs normal besides on cold start up. is this a bad injector or? nothing really has change in my set up besides replacing my dme. could this be the issue?

On cold start ups if i go slow like 1500-2000 rpms then come to a stop smoke pours out of the tailpipes. But only sometimes and when the car is cold any ideas if these two syptoms have somthing to do with each other?

What's the description of the code.

FOL is set too high, lower it to 90 and I would recommend doing a backend flash.

Was also getting a misfire cylinder 1 , but it went away now?? Idk this car is making me nutz

I'm thinking leaking injector , pulled the plugs cylinder 1 is sorted up more then others

Looks okay for the most part. IAT's are a little high, so that may be why you pulled timing on cylinders 1 and 5.

On cylinder one, it's possible that it is a leaky injector. You'd need to test it.

So car seems to run fine now would a bad injector go away like that? Havnt had time to trouble shoot

If you have an injector calibration issue, there isn't much we can do for you. I'd suggest taking it to a qualified mechanic.

Did you figure this out?? I just recently did my injectors and they are all calibrated properly. I triple checked to make sure and I am getting this code.
