I have the hotside aluminum inlets along with aluminum outlets and I get this sound with stock DVs venting to atmosphere.
Just like the OP's video, the high pitch sound happens a split second before the standard DV/blow off sound and mind sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. It's almost like the DV's can't release quick enough.
I'm going to try the 1/4 hose and barb to see if that helps.
to chime in, i'm running Pure turbos with VTT inlets and it sounds like that too! car have been running fine, 27PSI with no issues for around 10,000kms so i wouldn't be too bothered by it. logs look nice as well. I would say that the noise is probably just the character of the inlets.
I think its too loud.. the old pssss sound was better..
Thread revival, sorry......
I've been researching this since I put my inlets on a few months ago. I just found this thread and this video is exactly the sound I have that I do not like at all. MMP inlets on VRSF c.p. and Tial bov on custom tune at 22psi and all the other usual bolt ons. Has anyone found a cure for this possibly? Different spring than standard in the bov? Different bov?

Thanks!
I think it's a resonance from the silicone intake tubing and nothing you can do aside from running hard lines will fix it.
