For drag racing it has been proven fast rwd cars usualy use 15" wheels. I know on a stock 135 they wont fit atleast it dosent look like it. Does anyone know what 16" will fit also what if you down grade the rear to 128i brakes there smaller but will it fit a 15" ... I have a mt 135 and im planning on going twin disc so i would love a 15" with a 26" slick...

i know maxpsi just did a 8s with a 16" 26 tall tire but i want 15s

A 17" wheel is the smallest you can use with the factory 135 Brembos on the back. There is about 1/2" clearance now with 17". The 128i rear brake conversion would be a costly job requiring replacement of the HUB and e-brake assembly and would still probably not give clearance for a 15" wheel.

I saw a 128 with factory 16s looked like maybe a 15 could fit. And idc about the price when your spending on all the other stuff its nothing

No OEM vented or twin disk as you call it that fits under 15" because there isn't one in existence.
that is because 135i and 335i come with the larger 180mm parking brake shoes.
The smallest rotor that fits over this parking brakes is e34 525i solid 300mm
You could use this 300mm solid from e34 525i with caliper/carriers/pads from 128i
128i rotors are also 300m but will not fit over the parking brake shoes.
Same with 328i rotor, they will not fit over the parking brake on 335i
Also, on the 135i the caliper will have to mounted on the inner side of the hub knuckle.
If you have 335i same rotors from e34 525i with calipers/carriers/pads from 328i but mounted normally.
I have discussed the same on E90post. In theory, going of the numbers this should work.
However, nobody has done brake downgrade.

Can anyone confirm that a 16" wheel will NOT fit on the back of a 135i with stock brakes?

haha what a old thread so to update...i don't think a 16 will fit however i have since downgraded brakes. Different hub for 135 and 28xi brakes do the trick to fit 15"
