I am pleased to annouced the release of my E85 Calculator for iOS!

It has all the same features of android but just to recap it can:

-Tell you how many gallons of each fuel to add to obtain desired E%
-Can take into account how much fuel and E% currently in your tank
-Clears fields on selection (so you don't have to delete numbers before entering new ones)
-Saves your calculators for next time you use the app

I appolgize for the confusion. The app works with any units of messure right now. I submitted the change for text fields but if you use the app it works the same with liters or any other unit of messure.

Are most people using older versions of iOS? Is there something about 7.1 that is bad? I will look into making it compatiable with other versions.

I'm on 7.0.4 due to jailbreak!!! I think if it works on iOS 7+ you should be ok!!

Yeah I uploaded the new version that has a min version of ios 6 so it should be good for everyone to use. Just need to wait on Apple as usual...

Are our tanks really only 15.5 gallons? I was under the impression they were 16 flat

I think the total amount of fuel is more than that. I was one notch below half and put 8.4 gallons in.

Usable fuel is probably ~16 gallons. Total fuel capacity (including unusable fuel) ,I would guess, is closer to 17gal. I use 17gal when calculating e85 mix which gets it close enough.

I have one suggestion. It might be an idea to change "Ethanol Needed" to "E85 Needed".

When I read it the first time I thought "Ethanol Needed" referred to actual ethanol required and not how much E85 to put in.

Remember, there is always unusable fuel in a tank when it it supposedly empty. Not a huge deal but depending on how accurate you want to be, I would figure in that fuel also.

Thank you for your feedback. I have considered both options and I am still unsure on the correct wording. I agree that E85 makes the wording more consistant. I also was thinking that if someone wanted to use say E98 then the word Ethanol is more accurate than E85. IDK. I will be working on adding more features to the app this weekend hopefully.
