u mean i can add boost from higher rpm and wat about the ecu tune? would i need ecu flash tune to run IS20?
Yes. if you have simos 18 it’s better to have ecu flash. jb4 cannot bypass restrictions on this block, and if boost is higher than 22 psi, then the ignition angle will be closer to 0. there are no such problems on simos 12. and make FUD D - 90
i remember my 2015 A3 1.8TFSI ecu is simos 12 but i cant go above 15-16psi on map 3 or 4...even map 6 customised with the help of George i reached 16psi. I have full bolt-on with TCU stage 2+ flashed from TVS, was considering ecu flash to get more boost but i think IS12 turbo wont be able to reach that high. Will be looking for IS20 turbo and see if i can make more boost. BTW i dont see FUD, all i see is future use A

any reason u have set the 6 cylinder timing to 1? which firmware u have as i see your might be previous firmware as i dont see Future Use D anymore on my jb4 app

6 cycles I don’t remember))) it was a long time ago that a person who understood this and started setting me up said that put 1 and do not turn it off. maybe the difference in ios and android. try to choose options, I think there will need to enable these bits 1,3,4,6. N20 needs to be set 1 this is necessary so that the boost is more than 21psi)))

mine is android so maybe that the slight difference app from iOS, also 60.85.5 is latest software. Will try changing N20 setting to 1 if that will help giving more boost.
