Terry,
I understand you say its not needed but is it also a option ?
I will be looking at running at few events coming up in august and
want to make sure I know what options I have and don't. A case of would rather have the knowledge and not need it then not have it need it and be rushing in the pits to figure it out race day lol made that mistake before.

My advice is before race day do a few runs, log them, and see how its running. You can post those logs here also for tuning advice as needed. So you avoid any race day surprises.

Made an interesting Stinger discovery today. Cutting the brake signal wire to the ECU lets you power brake the car and do awesome burn outs.
So far no negative effects noted other than start/stop not working! Exploring the option to have the JB4 intermittently cut the signal off the signal once we have a better feeling for the effects and whether it allows the AWD cars to launch harder.
If anyone is interested in helping test it out email me! Requires cutting 1 ECU wire which you can splice back together later, so definitely for the more advanced crowd who understands what is involved.

I would like to help test this out Terry, Im at the Bandimere drag strip every Friday and test and tunes Wednesday nights in Denver Colorado, Im looking for a way to launch my AWD car better the 4 sec LC window isn't ideal fro bracket racing (not to hard not trying to break anything sir) Just trying to get the AWD to hit something better then the 2.0, 2.1 2.2 60' times with the hopes of a better 1/4 mile time. I also have a draggy to test out results as well. I just read the DIY sticky on the burn out switch.

Gday Terry, love your work mate. I’ve run the jb4 in my old stinger and had great success. I have only just fitted it on my new one to check out information. I’ve fitted turbo back exhaust and getting overboost. Can the jb4 help me with this at all?

First step is to do a JB4 log on map0 and lets see what is going on technically.

You need to attach the CSV file itself, photos are not useful.

No didn’t do any maps, thought that would still overboost but just at an elevated level which was my concern. Has anyone else come across this?
I’ll give it a try in the morn.

Terry,
Good morning. Just installed the JB4 and did a trial run in MAP1. I am on V7 not the latest. I still need to figure out how to do the firmware update. That is a topic for another day. No issues that I could feel. If I get a log file may I send it to you so you can confirm that all is well before I move forward?
Tks,
Kevin
