Default On3 single turbo build - 02-17-2019, 11:01 AM

Just wanted to share my single turbo build. With the price on3 is asking and the factory twins blowing smoke like a diesel i needed to do something. Cost was my biggest decision maker. As the reviews of others I have seen , the kit is great quality, to be seen on the turbo but i have no plans of pushing more then 24psi

. Currently the car is out of order , i blew a transistor in the DME. Will be delivered tomorrow so I get to put my SMD skills to use. I'm running full E85 , two walbros in the tank and meth. I have a custom dual catch can setup with external pcv. Except for AD fittings and two ecs catch can I plumbed it all in -10an . I been getting good reviews from people on the streets doen here in Florida so I wanted to share it with you and maybe help somebody out. On3 kit fit with no issues I got the twins out in about 9 hours in my driveway.
Took a bit over 16 hours putting it back together but i changed the oil pan gasket and spent time scrubbing the subframe and cleaning all the exposed realstate with the twins out. I making about 7.5 psi on wastegate and pulled a few on 20psi , everything is humming better then expected untill the slight delay on the DME

. I'm running a VW expansion tank $6 from local junk yard. Had it on there with the twins and does the job so if anyone is having expansion tank problems, this is a great and cost effective option.

Glad to see more on3 kits out there. My buddy and I run them. Mine RWD and his AWD we got the kit to fit his car with no modifications. Nice build.

Thanks I was really surprised how well it went together. Near future I will get a stronger wastegate spring but for now I happy with the results. Also plan on extending and moving the wiring to the firewall instead over the ********. Four days to receive the kit is also a plus for anyone in a hurry.

Were you able to use the coupler they sent for the turbo to the hotside? I had to get a longer one.
