01-07-2019, 06:21 AM
Hi Guys,
Started messing with Map 6 from a settings I have seen posted by different users.
Any ideas how to eradicate the Throttle Closure? Tried FUA @ 20 working down to 10 and this gets rid of the throttle closure but loose quite alot of boost?
Any help would be great.

You're overboosting by a lot that's why you're having throttle closures to regulate the boost.
I would go down to a preloaded map before moving up to map 6 if you're not sure what you're doing or looking for.
Can you get a log on map 2, what fuel are you using?

Hi Payam,
I sent some logs in on a previous thread to look over as I was having issues then, Map 2, Map 3 & Map 5 were all having the same issue.
That's why I have gave MAP 6 a try. I have posted the Logs on a previous thread only a couple down from this one

Issue is DME BT wobbling, there is no fix for that problem. So you have to set the tuning such to avoid it.

Terry/Payam,
Is there anything I can do just to lower it slightly? If I reduce target boost? Or any settings. Car is so near to perfect now after a couple issues with the car in past

Hi,
Map 2 as requested, hopefully you can see something from this?
Also I attached a MAP 3 with slight adjustments and this looks much better but is the boost correct?
Hopefully you can help as I would love to go further with the car but want to get it right at this power first
Thank you guys for taking your time to look at this

Seems to be hit and miss, stay with map3 and see if you can hang on to that.

Stood with MAP 3 and it seems to have sorted itself somehow and the throttle closure just vanished ?
Thanks very much for your help! Any pointers on starting MAP6 as people seem to be getting great results

Easy fix works for me. The B58 just likes to act out sometimes.
I'd stay with one of our maps unless you're looking for a part time job logging and adjusting your car.
