Default Looking to max out WMI with 100 octane race fuel - 09-02-2017, 10:07 PM

I'm planning to run 100 Octane race fuel with the WMI kit next time at the track. Is 75 add the most I can run? I want to max out stock turbos. I'm running the MHD race BEF. I'm looking for max boost.

I believe with stock TMAP anyways you are limited to 21 psi. If you have the N20 sensor the scale of the adder it totally different

Yes, I should have mentioned I have the N20 TMAP (3.5bar).

With the N20 I believe the 75 adder will even be beyond your stocker limits 75 adder without N20 will target 19.5 psi with N20 enabled I guess that would be 23-25 psi and stockers more than maxed out.

Seen a post previuosly that Terry mentioned adder can go to 85

Yes, with 3.5 bar and 75 adder, boost peaks at 25 psi. Would be very surprised stockers could put down that much boost.

Really fellas? We know that stockers can go to 25-26 psi. I have been there for 1.5 yrs. At those boost levels its probably very near 500whp and 550+wtq.

The real test will be to see if the stock ignition and plugs can hold up! I'm very near the point of needing a switch to NGK's and a smaller gap. It might be time for a coil upgrade as well.

Boost =/= horsepower.

if you're set up doesn't flow well, stockers can hit 25 psi.
if it does, you can't because it's flowing more.

Ignition should not be an issue if your coils/plugs and tune are in good shape.

There must be so much back pressure and hot air flowing at those boost levels on the little stockers.

I was tempted to try it myself but I stuck with 23 psi. Didn't want bits of Turbo breaking off and causing collateral damage.
