2007 lightly modded 335i didnt pass inspection -
11-25-2016, 06:33 PM
1st of all my car rarely gets driven so i dont know if that was the problem or not. The inspector said it needed to be driven because it acts like the battery was unhooked and the computer needs cycled? I havent unhooked my battery but the car rarely gets driven. Could that be the problem or does my jb4 need to be on a certain setting. The only mods my car has is the jb4,golf tee mod and dual cone intake.
The scan said the following.
Catalyst not completed.
02 sensor heated not completed.
Evaporative system not completed.
02 sensor not completed.
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance...

I have failed inspection before with similar issues.
1) JB4 needs to be in map 0 (for drive cycle and inspection)
2) you have to due a "drive cycle" to get everything into the ready mode
Google 335i drive cycle and you will get the idea.

Move to a non communist state and you'll never have to worry about emissions inspections again

The drive cycle may take a while. The last stage anyway. It isn't a 10 minute procedure AFAIK.
