On a factory N54 tmap sensor, what is the highest boost spike that can be recorded ?

21psi. It doesn't read anything above that, even though you might be hitting over that.

I have logs showing boost at 21.3 as i let off the throttle ???

I've seen a little higher than 21 on the stock TMAP as well. It's not exactly 21, but close enough.

Would you happen to know what is a reasonable boost spike when letting off throttle ? I understand its not what the engine sees. Im curious as to how high some spikes hit when wot, then you let off the gas. Ive heard of a few psi, then ive herad of 7, 8, and even greater psi. Upgrading tmap should show all these values as the factory sensor can not read that high, correct ?
