Mods in Sig.
I made 3 11 second passes today. That was my goal for the year and makes a great baseline.
Have 5 other passes at 12.1's or lower.
Still have sat and Sun to do better.
Tires are firestone Indys in a 255 width.
Track is BIR here in Minnesota (MAP Proving Grounds).
Posting from my phone. Pics once home.
Frickinhate phones.

And I just checked. My alpine flash is gone. Had the car serviced and the update cleared the flash.
I kind of thought my 2.3 shift was slower. Now I know why.
V7 looks to be less boost and more timing, or the same timing up to 5k and then increasing about 2*.
The 3rd gear curve/target is odd vs 4-6 ... assuming my log is a good representation.
And I'm getting big timing pulls on 1, 4 and mild on 5.
It feels like the vanos is where the change is happening, the car sounds different.

Well that's pretty impressive. Upgrades will just relieve the bottle necks and reduce stress on the car. Might take off a few tenths.

Was at proving grounds Friday and Saturday and didnt see any fast n54s. Most were running 13s and the few i talked to were running cobb lol. Nice runs. Feels nice to have 11s.

Over here in the UK where the track prep is not the best, there aren't to many BMWs getting into the 11's. Even the M4s and M5s struggle. So almost impossible for the N54s unless heavily modded.
For example

Everyone (with AWD) was bitching about track prep. I had no complaints or problems. Nor did the guys with a driver mod.
Most of the time it's not the track, it's the driver. If you can't make a few trial passes and get a feel for the track and adjust your launch, then don't bitch about track prep.
Hell most just rev to the limiter and dump the clutch and think that's all there is to launching. It's no wonder they break **** and bitch all the time.
I got about 30 passes in over the weekend and all my 60's are with in a few tenths. If the track prep was changing that wouldn't happen. All of the changes is me adjusting and playing.
Something that removes movement is all I know. I was still racing/practicing and when I went looking for him he wasn't at his camp. So yes something broke, but I can't tell you exactly what.
