Default LOG ADVICE ? - 04-13-2016, 12:04 AM

car is running great. e40, wondering if anything should be changed / adjusted ?
1. any concerns regarding the log?
2. should i increase e85 ? (fuel pressures look good to me?)
3. if i ran e50 opposed to e40 lets say, what would be the gain ? is it response, hp, torque ? how much gain ? how high do you feel i can go on e85 given the log posted ?
4. dwp is 80, menu 12 is 2600. leave these where they are ? if advised to make a change, please explain why.

thanks in advance.

Not bad...you are pulling some timing up top but that could be due to your high IAT's. You could run a little more ethanol but I suspect your HPFP is going to max out soon as it's starting to dip a bit.

Thank you for the response Steve. So leave everything as is ? Is the car SAFE ? Anything you would recommend to change in user settings ? The car is 08 w factory intercooler. Should my next step be upgraded fmic in your opinion ? I have bms dci, dp, new factory turbos, fuel it stage 1. Thanks again.

Yes, I'd definitely look at upgrading the FMIC. If it were me, I'd probably back off on the additive a bit. You're being pretty aggressive with that.

Steve, i installed the fmic today. Did 2 pulls and logged. I know my hpfp is diving. i miscalculated when i put gas and did e50. i also did lower my add as you recommended, BUT i put it back to where it was for logging comparison purposes. Im over boosting a bit, My ff is climbing a bit compared to the first logs i posted, iats are way better now, timing is off, idk what happened. has e50 as opposed to e40, and fmic installed. everything else is the same. what do you recommend ?
Anything in user settings ?
my fol has stayed at 42, would increasing it help at all with hpfp ? and if i did adjust, wouldnt it just learn back down again ? or am i wrong ? Thanks for your help, its appreciated. car is fbo, fuel it stg 1, bms dci, vrsf fmic 5", and ********* ***. also has new factory turbos, maybe 500miles on them, new plugs and coils oem. once again, thanks for your help.

im open to suggestions if anyone else wants to chime in.

Looks pretty good, those turbos are doing well!

Update your firmware and interface.

STEVE, please take a look at this log. does everything still look o.k. ? All i did was change chargepipe. Oh, and i raised menu 12 to 2500 from 2400. I see in the log its says under "last safety" there is a "1" and its usually "0". no cel, no codes stored in jb4, never got kicked out of map 3. What does the 1 represent in the last safety ?

thanks for your help, or if anyone else can chime in, thanks in advance.

1= Boost over safety.

I'd recommend an N20 TMAP and set your meth scalar to 60.

When/if you install that N20 TMAP, be sure to lower your additive since it will have been re-scaled.

Let me try this again. I log my car about once a week. A few days ago i logged it and it ran FINE. No cel, ses, etc. Stayed in map 3, never got kicked out of it. When i reviewed my logs, it should overboost safety. Next day i logged it cruising down the street, as well as just idling in my garage. Still shows last safety "1". I reloaded the firmware, still shows the safety, loaded older version, back to latest, kept logging, everytime the last safety shows "1". How do i get rid of it ?? Car runs great though. I do want to upgrade the tmap since you and Terry recommend this, however, i want to clear this issue up first ! Thanks for your help !

The last code has no affect on anything...it doesn't need cleared and will stay at 1 until the next safety occurs. it is the "last" safety, not the current one.

Ok, now i understand how its set up, however, how did it trigger WITHOUT cel, ses,or kicking me out of my map ?
Also, if it stays on 1, i wont know if it reoccurs !!!!! since there was no limp mode, cel, etc. thats what has me confused. Would upgrading the tmap help this issue ? If so, why did this never happen before on the same tmap ? Finally, upgrade to the 3.5 or 4 bar ? i believe the 4 bar is cheaper but not sure how well its working, and how well it would work for me on stock turbos. THANKS for all your help once again, greatly appreciated.

oh, please send a link to the additive that will change when i replace the tmap please, so i know where to set it at. thanks !

Who knows when that was triggered...you're over thinking it...just let it be.
