Hi Gents, Its been a while but we have some big news for those of us on the Beast Coast.

For years we have watched the western states participate in the most FUN racing events we've ever seen - The 1/2 Mile

As older N54'ers would know, Me and my friends have a passion for racing, of any type; we brought Roll Racing into the mainstream with sophisticated timing equipment, and now set the standard for 1/2 Mile Drags

Some of the key components of creating the absolute MOST LEGITIMATE 1/2 Mile race in the NATION are:

Absolute PERFECTION in timing measurement- We have a defined starting line with staging beams exactly like a NHRA dragstrip; We have defined Finishlines for both 1/4 and 1/2 miel that will read ET and MPH

We dont count rolling start races for 1/2 mile "records"

We dont set a race distance to exceed 2640ft from start to finish

We dont "play" with the timing system to incur falsely high reading MPH's

We incorporated 60ft measurements as well - this lets you know exactly how the car is performing so that you know when and where can apply more power.

We continuously sweep the runway for FOD and other debris

We allow full scale burnouts to heat those tires up

We spray the track with actual dragtsrip track prep so that us RWD people can actually use that TQ

ALL OF OUR RUNS ARE WITHIN .35 OF VBOX ( using 1ft roll-out)

This validates our claims of accuracy and expertise





In addition, our layout is geographically superior to any other:
True race distance of 2640'
Slope is 1% decline for race portion

Shutdown distance of 3100'
Last 1000' is 1% incline to help slow-down the cars

Track Elevation is just over 1500', with average summer DA of 1500'

You can expect and equivalent of Atco or MIR level performance

FEE'S

The cost to race per day is slightly higher, however, we are the only organization in the Nation to offer a RAIN DATE AND/OR CREDIT for a future event. That means you will never lose your money

Also, we keep participation to a minimum, 80 cars/day - this means that you spend more time racing, and less time wasting.

OUR GOAL is always to ensure you are so tired from racing so much, that you call it quits before we reach the end of the day - We continuously succeed in this en-devour

Additionally, Not only are we offering the most legitimate 1/2 Mile race, its located just 3 1/2 hours from Long island, Philadelphia, and Baltimore - you couldn't ask for a more central location.

Probably not, how far west are you talking? there are plenty of other organizations on the left coast

maybe in the distant future, but right now we locked down the north east; have venue's in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas we are about to announce. Thats about as far out as we want to stretch.

It a tough balance, we could pack in 150 cars at $200/each, but then your waiting much more than racing, and we feel most people are ok with paying a little more in order to have a full day of racing, not just 3-4 runs- like a private rental feel. To cover costs of going further west, its probably not feasible

Yup,but we have a few more hoops now with that one. Seems a certain TX based "syndicate" likes to get other events cancelled based on claiming racial bias.. But the other 2 partners of ssre are culturally diverse, so the town is just rewriting the contracts

Ok, sounds like Austin or Houston. ;-)

If Houston, you have to bribe someone to get anything done, even stuff that helps people for free.
The old mayor required everyone who wanted to see him to go through a "consulting company" before meeting with him.
That company charged a tremendous amount in order to get you a meeting.
Want to save the city money?
Then you have to give us a cut.
Somehow the mayor ended up very rich when he left public office.
