Stock Turbo awd world record -
05-22-2015, 07:45 AM
I plan to beat it in the next several weeks so I'd like to know what I am aiming for.
I've tried to find it, what is the world record for stock turbos in an awd n54 car?

You'll need port injection or the new throttle body injection to run pure E85 at the boost levels you'll need for that kind of power. How many miles are on your turbos?

He might get away with the TB E85 injection option recently on the market place, but I would spend the extra and get the PI. The TB injection will not work for a ST, it may work for upgraded stock frames w/ 100% E85 but afaik it is not tested.

Probably not a record- but Brian May recently tuned a 335xi stock turbo, stock inlet, FBO on e60 fuel wirh inline pump-

Saw that as well he's in my neck of the woods. I'm pretty sure I have that np. I hit 400 awhp on map 5 pre IC and older flash last winter on winter blend e85 and a dynodynamics dyno which is known to read low. I'm guessing I'm close to similar numbers he got now. Actually gonna try and get dyno time on the same one Brain uses

Nice, on that particular 11.3 run what was your 60'?
So can i assume there can be some very low 11sec stock turbo xi with this inlets and of course the car running 100% on the tuning side?

as of right now I am hitting 19+ psi consistently on straight e85 and have a decent amount of room in the hpfp yet. turbos just replaced under the extended warranty about 8k miles ago, car itself just hit 70k

1.7 even
In preparation for the RB Evo package I will actually be installing my stock turbos- so maybe will get to see what a stock turbo xi can do with inlets....I don't have much going on this weekend

I could imagine if you would had gotten the same 1.49' on that 11.3 pass posible 10.999 lol on 470awhp that would had been crazy.
Haha you trying to have all the records for twin setups.
Rbs are still ok? And are you you still trying to go 10s with the current setup before going evo? Sorry for all this question you have inspired and motivated a lot of us xi guys.

Hahahah- yeah that 1.49 60 ft still bugs me, the constant "what ifs" go through my head lol..
I'm curious to see if I can replicate my 11.3 results with my stock turbos and inlets actually, i don't see why i couldn't run 20 psi mid and hold 18-ish to redline.
If you are XI- and debating some form of RB/inlet combo, I strongly encourage it nothing beats power, especially when you can put it to the ground

is anyone making more power than that 335xi on stock turbo's and no TFT inlets? (strictly speaking XI platform, stock turbo, no TFT inlets) just curious.
