For me, 4/4 and 4/5 seem exactly the same. Have had the JB4 for quite a while and never run into this issue. Even with the BMS Cobb flashes.

So if we already have the car flashed with the bimmerboost bms flash do we need to flash back to stock first or can we just flash the mhd map right away?

Anything to do with post-shift overboosting?

I am getting some over boosting but I'll live with it as the perfect timing is worth it. I need to do some V dyno runs and test but it feels better post shift with the increased intake Vanos changes

Spent some time on the dyno last week and decided the original Cobb values just provided the best all around performance. Even with single turbos. Your mileage may vary.

Just keep the old backup file and you're good to go. MHD doesn't do or require backups.

I'm running a 07 BMW 335i with at 6466g2div full bolt on and e85 100% and PI

100 Oct RON in Europe corresponds to around 94-95 oct AKI in the US.

Run the pump flash, then adjust boost accordingly if you have a JB4.

So when modifying your own base maps with the values from these, for US cars, should we copy the map max voltage, or leave that as what was in the factory bin? Thanks.

I used the updated bin and copied all defined values to my bin and flashed with MHD. I never got this to work previously but it started right up.

could someone direct me to the proper thread where it explains the proper way to flash with MHD....ive heard keep door open....connect battery charger....etc. My battery is brand new would I still need to do that....

There are a lot of threads with different ways...

Step 1: car off ignition off
step 2: connect k+dcan to usb connector to phone
step 3: keep door open?? etc.
step 4: pick your flash and begin? how long SHOULD the process take

Which BMS flash would be best for E60 with 3.5 map sensor....

2007 BMW 335i...M2 exhaust...Macht Schnell DP's...VRSF 7" FMIC...MM Performance inlet system.....VRSF Chargpipe with Tial BOV....MFACTORY LSD....MHD e60. Wedge tunING.........RB Stealths......N20 Tmap upgrade.....Steve Stage 2 450......H&R Race lowering springs...MT ET Streets 265/40/18 rear.....NGK 5992
