I usually have to start the app then connect the cable. Takes 1 or 2 tries but it always connects once my tablet recognizes the otg connection.

Yeah I figured it had to be DCT or AT, I got nervous because I want to run RBs on my 6MT eventually, but not if it comes with tranny problems. The MT should hold it all day is my understanding.

Both the INPA and OTG cables are working properly (tested both of them)
Using a Samsung Galaxy (phone) 3 & 5 with the same results. and no phone case. Both phones have OTG capabilities and verified that it was working properly. Anyone using a Galaxy phone?
Any other input?

I have an s4 and a buddy with an s5 and both work fine. I know Samsung have otg capability so that should be okay. Do you you have any other applications that you use the otg cable with ie. Jb4 mobile app, BMWhat app? If so, go to the applications screen in setting and clear defaults for the app so when you connect the otg cable, it will ask you what program to attach the connection to.

It does look like the problem is my Cable is the problem I have the Enthusiast and Basic Kits. http://www.bavariantechnic.com/buy.aspx
The funny thing is that this cable works amazingly with the software they provide for testing and running all of the diagnostics.
Can some one recommend me a cable? I did find one on Amazon for $26 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...f_rd_i=desktop
What do you guys think? or recommend?

I would not recommend anything but the one stop electronics cable. Have heard others have worked but these cables are guaranteed and don't have to worry about it getting interrupted while writing which I've heard some of the cheaper cables have had happen, not specifically with the mhd app, but when using winkfp or Ncs expert.

FYI if anyone was wondering how the app determines whether or not to do a full flash (9-18 minutes) vs just a write (1-2 minutes) is it looks at the boost ceiling. So always keep your boost ceiling above 1.28 or below 1.28 unless you want to wait for a full write every time you write. Obviously only pertaining to those with custom maps they're building.

Once you download the first page zip files. Your phone should ask you if it must extract the files.
From there the app should automatically find the extracted files on your phone.

Or download the file using a computer and then email yourself the flash you want.

Any BMS backend flash, including the one for ST owners, can be flashed with the basic flasher license.

I recommend using "Flash JB4 backend". Not much difference now, but that may come. Plus you can do that because you purchased a full $99 flasher license (reduced to $79 during the beta). But the majority of JB4 users will buy the "JB4 backend only" flasher and will only be able to flash a backend by this mean

I purchased the full license for $79. I did not see an option for "JB4 Backend only" to purchase. Is that version not available yet? Is it significantly reduced in price? I don't have a problem purchasing the full license, because eventually I may load custom flashes.

In the beta it required me to pay for the higher boost ceiling to flash the backend map. Does that mean I get a refund?

When visiting the MHD "store", it detects the cable, establishes a connection with the ECU (as seen by voltage readout, vin#, and ecu version) but the store is blank. Nothing to purchase.
