Awesome to hear! So I was wondering if I buy this, can I use it on both my tablet and phone? I understand it will not be optimized for my Asus transformer. Can I just copy the apk file to the tablet?

Just download it from the playstore on your transformer as well. Google won't charge you twice for it.

This is an N55 JB4 limitation. Ask Terry to enable roadspeed output on it. He will need to release a firmware update for it.

0-60 will work with all platforms (once I code it in) because I use GPS Speed from the android device. So if your device supports GPS then it'll work.

Firmware updating is something I'm working on porting over from iOS as well. It will work I just have to code it in still.

Most internal android GPS receivers are 1hz and don't update nearly fast enough for accurate timing. If you add support for an external bluetooth 10hz gps then it would be permissible.

It should be close enough. Especially if you do some math to keep track of acceleration data then you should be able to interpolate the time pretty closely. This is just an estimator anyways. VBox is the way to go if you want anything better than a good estimate. And adding an external GPS would be good, but I think this will work well enough to get you an idea of what your 0-60 is. I just want 2 things from a JB4 firmware at some point. Oil temp and road speed without wasting a Future Use value on them.

You can read oil temp under FP_L by setting Future Use D to 11.

There is a way to charge your device while using OTG, but you have to root your device and use a custom kernel. I'm not even going to try to explain how to do all this, but you may be able to figure it out by googling around.

Yep. Just make sure your device supports OTG.

Couple of things:
- With the JB hogging the CAN-BUS your Torque data is likely delayed/interrupted
- Torque does not display some model specific measures (as far as I'm aware) such as High Pressure fueling, JB or ECU boost targets, etc.

Regarding the code reading feature - Can the app read codes in real time and display them as they pop up, let say if I have an issues and the code pops up/engine goes into limp while at wot etc. ???
