Feel like I led you astray last week saying that week will be the week, but this week will def be it. Sorry again man, I know there have been quite a few people waiting longer than we had expected. Looking forward to moving these along though, and it is so close I can almost taste it!

There was only 1 Group Buy in RB history... Sales were slow enough and there was many pushing for it so we did it. Lately tho sales are very high and we can barely keep up as is. See no reason for a group buy with this amount of demand. Sorry about that.

Sales have actually surged recently so it seems, still keeping very busy... no plans for Group Buy at this time. Just trying to focus on keeping up with current demand which by itself is already a tough feat...
Sorry,

Awesome news on your sales. The turbos are the outstanding. Would be interested in how many total units you have sold through 2013 if you feel like sharing after the new year. Just to get an idea of how many are out there like me.

Unfortunately the first while (perhaps 1st year) I wasn't invoicing or using actual order docs. But looking like from mid/late 2011 though to present, we appear to be slightly over 200 sets. So there are quite a few sets out there... likely around 250 sets.

RB turbos make the N54 engine sing and dance provided you have *** and FMIC with a good tune and high octane gas (or pump gas w meth).
Just recently I have schooled an E60 M5 and a Merc E55 AMG, buried both rudely (just E30 blend w Cobb Protune).
Can't say enough about the RB impact, makes the car feel like a juiced up V8 while retaining the smooth, silky power delivery of the inline 6. It's the crown jewel in a tuning effort that realizes double the stock hp/torque delivery. Well worth the wait, so have patience.
I'm now investigating an LSD because the torque off the line is beyond what the drivetrain is designed for.
Smooth power, the silent deadly kind!
Post Script: My sister-in-law went for a ride with me and experienced some quick pulls into jail territory. She was impressed but also a bit spooked, unsure how to rate this experience in moral terms. Finally she said, "That's incredible, but why do you need so much power for a regular car?"
I pondered the question for a while, then said "Well, you're a sheila and I am a guy. So let's just agree we are different." Then we drove back in silence.
Its one of those deep existential questions that have no answer, nor requires one. (Neither of us are Aussies, but I think she knows what a sheila is, else she could google it.)
Sleeper 5 series
Performance: Pro tuned MHD, xHP Stage 3 TCU flash, DCI, AR kittens, ER FMIC & CP, Fuel-It Stage 2 LPFP w ported rail, RB turbos, RB inlets, KW V2, Mfactory LSD
Audio: Jehnert Flatline speakers, Mobridge M1000 DA2 digital preamp, Helix P-DSP, Zapco Z-150.6 amp, CIC iDrive upgrade

Rob,
I have been overseas the last 3 years. Is there a one pager I can read about what to do to get the turbo's upgraded, what price to expect, and the tuning options? I am an N54 2008 135 guy.
Where are you on HP and any problems with the cast pistons?
thanks,
Dale

Dale,
Im not sure about a one pager, but price is on our website ( www.rbturbo.com), and you should be FBO (or very close) before considering them especially if you want to maximize them. Tuning options are typically JB4/Cobb/Vishnu. Most customers run the JB4 with great results. Installation costs are typically around $1250 (12 hours). We have seen HP up to 535rwhp and the cast pistons weather the storm very well, but nothing is certain nor guaranteed.
Thanks,
Rob

Closing this thread as it adds confusion to whether or not there is a Group buy going or not.
Thanks,
Rob
EDIT: Well it appears I do not have that option...
