The CPS wires are not used with the BMS flash, but they are on the upgrades page with the G5 board.

G5/ISO 16B 7DCT Anyone have a very slight stumble on acceleration when the engine is still cold & not on the JB4. Did not notice it on 16 which was very smooth

I don't think JB4 is doing anything until oil temps hit 160F. My understanding was it's a straight by-pass until then, no?

On iso the JB4 mimics stock. But is not pass thru. Iso has no pass thru since dme is decoupled from boost control.

Removing cats is not emissions legal. You will not pass any smog test without cats on the car. Move any follow up discussion to some other forum, we don't want any "emissions testing" discussions around here.

No mention of cats Terry. The issue is whether JB4 G5 ISO hogs the port even on Map 0 when the emissions test is done. Here in CT they check via a cable to the ODBII port, so if they can't get access due to JB4 then it's problematic.
If I have to completely remove JB4 then I will do that. Just don't want to go in and fail because they can't read my car.

Map 0 has always allowed OBDII port use. No changes there.

I passed OBDII emissions tests with JB4 G5 ISO installed and on map 0 about a month ago.

Has anyone with a 1M tried the new gauge settings? Mine lines up well on the tach but not at all on the speedo, I'm pretty sure that I'm selecting the right one for us stateside folk.

The only guy who has tested that has been over seas so not surprised to hear it. Ensure you have the right setting then email in a photo of your speedo after say 5 pushes so I can recalibrate it.

My harness is a modified JB3 harness and it doesn't have any pins in the number 2 or 15 positions. I'm currently running the G4 board without any issues. Would I still be able to upgrade to the G5 board with this harness? What are those pins for?

I have JB4 G5 ISO with latest firmware, 2007 335i E93, I tried to use the DCT auto-on function which is 6-4.

I'm not sure why it won't work but hopefully this can be fixed.

you need to do it one time then start the car cause the de actavation sequence is the same 6-4 so. Start the car check if it on if not stop the car re enter in prog mode and do 6-4 and start the after you exit prog menu of cause and it should work, i had the same issue and that solve my problem so it should work for you to

Well...I was just told that I wouldn't need it for MT. So I just set it to "0". Do some research or ask Terry. sorry.

Probably not the sprint booster.

Do a search for Terry's DIY on how to check your boost control vacuum lines and solenoids. Follow it, as it will most likely, find your problem.
