I have a feature request, is there anyway we could use the JB4 as a D-CAN passthrough to allow programming of features like window up/down on lock, unlock on park, etc.?

Deleted the support/log requests. As always if you want public assistance, use the support forum. If you need BMS assistance, email us the CSV log.

We've thought about it but nothing planned.

If it ever happens it would be appreciated, heck, provide the pass-through and I'll write a basic UI to enable all of the known features

Tested the new FW today and it's legit, runs fine on Map 5 on FBO. No where near as aggressive as 5/23 but at least there was no misfires
Look forward to running it at next track day

Hi there
Can any of you tell me if I upgrade the wires for the G5 board that has both CPS and SLD, connected using wires on the DB9 connector, Will that still work with the JB4 G4 If I decide to switch back to the "old" G4 board?
Thanks

No, you would need to disconnect the wires from the harness end in that case.

If anyone is running lagfix 100 and getting something akin to lag then snap boost at 3200rpm or so. Try setting lagfix from 100 to 80. Fixed the problem for me and smoothed it out. I always used 100 lagfix before.

I just noticed a change from the last to current firmware. The old firmware didn't overshoot the target at 100 lagfix. This current one often does. 80 lagfix fixes it.

From a "responsive" standpoint, is the G5 in it's own league to wear having the setting set at 80 is fine? I had my G4 board set at 90. I can't wait for mine to arrive this week and finally not only hit 17.5 peak boost (like I was able to on the g4 18ohm), but to hit target boost after all the way to redline (which I wasn't able to do). Especially since I botched my 15ohm mod and also cracked the G4 board while doing so

The G5 is stronger (less restrictions) I had my G4 at 100 and also have my G5 at 100. You will notice the throttle response instantly compared to the the G4.

I dont know how you guys can stand driving the car with the lagfix set at anything higher then 80!
I have my G5 set at 60 because I like it smooth and linear, where the more gas you give it, the harder it pulls.
I found that when I set at 80 or higher, the gas pedal was WAY to sensitive in city traffic. I dont need the car to snap my head against the headrest when I'm trying to take off slow from a stop! LOL
Besides, even with it at 60, my car will still snap your head back without a problem if I push the pedal down fast... there is no lag and it hits target boost just fine!

I always ran 100 lagfix until last map something changed. Felt laggy then boost snapped in. I am at 80 now and like it better.
G5 is much better than G4 18ohm. I also botched the 18 to 15 conversion.
