Sweet well if we can make it to 18psi on pump alone and be good on fuel that would answer my prayers. The car is starting to feel like my R1 hehe.

The Helix seemed to be a quality affordable solution that would get the job done. If money were no object I'd likely have got something else, the new HPF kit for example looks awesome.

How do you like the single variable for tuning? Much easier than running independent tuning parameters.

so Rob.. how many sets of these are you going to run in the first production/ or are you planning on just doing 1 giant group or what?

im thinking that you have enough people ready to put up for the first production run right now if your gonna do 5 to start, but probably 10 at least possible more if word gets out that they are ready and being ran..

I believe the majority of the people want some sort of results, of which i am working on. I dont anticipate this taking much longer, especially considering the wait weve already made it through. Just hang in there and it will come together soon.

this might be similar to previous questions but at what psi with full bolt ons do you expect to reach diminishing returns? would that psi level come before what we are capable of with the meth? or could some type of fuel system upgrade allow for even more usable boost?

sorry if that doesn't make a lick of sense, I'm not very technical.

1 page back:

Terry said these rb turbos already hold 16-17 psi till REDLINE with ease - this is on pump gas.
Terry is guessing they could go up to approx 20 psi (with methanol) but he says that remains to be seen.

FYI, most of the CURRENT road testing and rb turbo info is on the last 3 pages or so.

Sounds great !

Btw, I think u should install your IC, max another 1 psi or so - then dyno those babies !!!
Oh, and after that - do not forget to make the first 5 sets fast !
Some of us been waiting like 8 months !

Fwiw, if you are not planning on methanol soon - try to get an early set to someone at sea level and who is competent to work out a methanol rb tubo map with terry's help.

My 2 cents

Not to go OT but since I've made the decision to sell all my car my parts are all up for sale. I'm offering my turbo cores for a reasonable price. 250 shipped.

EDIT: The turbos are sold to joeyfiasco.

If anyone wants to scavenge off of my car: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=119284

Buying a home. And I have two other cars. And I'm just going to make a lot of poor decisions if I follow through with this. 500hp and I'm 25. Not responsible thinking.

You can use a normal socket and just grind it thinner in a pinch.

I have a special deep plug socket already it's probably the same one as I've used it for many other cars, but knowing the size of the hex I could confirm so I don't end up in a pinch haha.
