Hey guys, new on this sub. So my dad just bought a 2014 320i with 95k on it (I was totally against this and wanted him to buy a toyota/honda that would last him years). My question is, are these engines reliable? There’s zero warrantee and I just want some feedback from other owners who have similar mileage. Share your experiences! I had a 12 F30 N20 that never gave me issues until 130k miles, replaced a solenoid, then thermostat gave out after that, and major was the timing chain guide went at 157k miles. Replaced and running just fine.
