The MMPs tend to have very tight wasteagtes, so you'll want to start with menu12 low like around 1500rpm, and a relatively flat duty bias (with RPM FF gain disabled), and evaluate something like map2 to start.

Many thanks, Terry. Much appreciated.

Stay tuned (pun intended!)...

a

ps: On the stock turbos running the OTS Cobb Stage 2 + FMIC Agressive map, on Canadian 94 octane, it was peaking around 18.5 psi, but with the addition of the MMPs plus inlets / outlets plus the new LPFP (only those three changes) it was peaking at 20.2 (assuming the old stock TMAP was reading this right) but AFR was not good.

Hey Terry I'm having some waist gate rattle on acceleration. These are brand new stage 1 turbos. I've played around with menu 10 a ton and i can not find a spot where it goes away. The rattle occurs around 1-3 psi. But once over 3-4 psi it stops. It's at partial throttle. Any ideas? I hear there can be some tuning done to the WGDC that can help with this.

did it get fixed when you moved it up? I can't get it to move past 3k but it still makes noise at 2600

Menu10 stops being used around 1psi, so 2-4psi, would be menu12. If you can capture the rattle in a log you can then identify the WGDC its coming up under and try to tune around that.

Right so I turned menu 12 up to 3000rpm, it sounds way better but there still is the slightest bit of rattle. Is there a way to lock in a value higher than 3000rpm?

when it was the default value 2800 no rattle / noise down low to 2500 it's fine.
also notice when i had set it to 1500 car stars to smoke slightly when revving even my turbos are new.

If you are running 93oct and meth, use the race flash.

Anybody have experience with Torco octane booster?

They say 16 ounces takes 10 gallons of 91 to 96 and 32 ounces takes it to 101, or 16 ounces in 93 takes it to 98 and 32 takes it to 103.

Would we use the Race BEF for all the above combinations (ie, 91 treated to 96 or 101, or 93 treated to 98 or 103).

Hello. I am running Turbo Lab stage 1 turbo MMP inlet and outlet FMIC and BMS meth kit dual CM 7. The fuel is 94 octane and E 85 is not used. I am wondering how much to start with the number to start setting up. How much psi should I start with?

You can either do some logging and post in the support section and people can help you dial it in or you can do a remote custom tune through someone like Trebila.

Now, for the initial test, you set all the user settings to the one at the first post, then you do map 6 to test or map 2?

Ok, Thanks. BTW, what is your settings? Fuel? Flash? Any concerns about the turbo kit?
How do you like it so far? Your insight helps me a lot. Thank you very much.

Always start with a mild map like map2 to evaluate the dutybias tuning, boost control, fueling, etc.
