Default Car was running so well before mhd tune . After tune car is bad :( - 07-22-2017, 08:19 AM

So i installed mhd tune before the install i have done all maintenance; installed tune everything worked went for a test drive . First time i gun it lots of power new car feel , second time i punche it went into limpmode half engine sign 3 misfires. Cylinders 1,2&3 and various fault codes. The car is an 07 335i sedan i cleaned valves allfluids chanched wayer pump thermostat , pullies and belt plugs . I got the car this last February, i have put 7000 miles of driving the car hard, it always always performed very well ! Also got turbos replaced and various gasket seals repkaced under warranty. After mhd flash all this happened. I really hope is just all software issues. I would appreciate your thoughts troubleshooting stories and fixes !

Same thing happened to me. The mhd tune is more aggressive so it will show any weakness. When i got mine my clutch gave out instantly lol. Then i fixed it and plugs couldn't hang and 2 coils.

just dump the stock coils and get the Bimmerlife Tuning coil kit or the Precision Raceworks kit and some new plugs. ignition misfires will be a thing of the past. now injectors on the other hand, that's another story

Welcome to tuning. I bet you need coils and plugs. My car was a stock mint 35,000 car with fresh walnut blast, oil change, etc. First pull past stock boost, I had two coils go.

I got Delphi ones and stock plugs from Amazon, now it holds 17 psi on E30 all day on map 5. Stock with tune and chargepipe. You will need a charge pipe next
