Dashcommand had a nice feature where you could create your own themes and for a while Palmer Engineering had a community forum where users were posting their themes.

This should be a requirement - Max Boost 1st-3rd should be renamed to Boost Reduction 1st-3rd. Soooo many people think they are setting the maximum allowed boost by gear just because of the name of the field.

Thats what they are doing. Setting maximum allowed boost. Boost reduction would probably confuse people.

Not on the VR30 platform. Whatever value you put in that field means it is reducing boost by said value. So if Map 1 is +5psi max, and there's a 2 in that field, you just turned Map 1 to +3psi max.
And I know this as a fact straight from Terry. I wish it worked how you stated it though, maximum allowed boost. I also wish that we were allowed to set the boost by RPM by the total psi like BMW can rather than adding boost to the stock psi. The 1st time I saw a profile that had 22 in those fields I was super confused until I read that they are setting the actual full PSI.

Confusing to say the least.

Tell me about it. Also just guaranteed me that we will not be seeing that value changed until we have some loadable profiles for each platform, and I do not see that being feasible.

I also would strongly second the recommendation of gauge profiles or gauge pages. I've just started using the app and it's the first thing I really noticed was missing.

Still waiting for this one to happen and the Android app! Please make this happen!
1. Move or remove the "Disconnect" button, it's right next to the button to start logging. That has been times when I see an opportunity to log something, and while I know the app will start logging with a certain amount of pedal, sometimes I like to see "things" before a pull. I'll hit the button to start logging, do whatever it is I wanted to log then go to hit the button to stop logging only to realize I disconnected rather than started the logging. Rarely have I ever actually needed to use the disconnect button.

Can we make the app compatible with the Phoenix Mark III running android 9?
It would be fantastic to have a large view of JB4 right in my dash.
Currently it just crashes on launch.

I'd like to see customizable parameter names so when a particular firmware reuses one parameter to show another then the user can customize the names accordingly. E. G. For Honda firmware trans_temp is actually the MAF temp. I'd like to be able to rename trans_temp to match.

Second request, this one is for a custom threshold alarm to be set for any gauge. When the threshold is breached either the gauge should flash or do something.

CARPLAY SUPPORT
If you do nothing else, this is the most important. Get the display onto the cars' screen. For safety, if nothing else. Its not safe to look at the phone while driving. Get it on the Infotainment screen. And not just mirrored with something like Miracast, its gotta be interactive so we can log through that screen too.

Hi, I hope this is the correct forum,
Could we plse have a display button on the right top of the screen, so that u don’t have to scroll back through 5 screens to get to the display.
On previous version of the JB4 App (log) you select the specific rpm to see the data, on recent versions isn’t the case.

Car Play support would be phenomenal and allow for easier interaction with the application. As also mentioned, we could use the option to select other gauge types that maybe you could make available. Also utilize the phones sensors to incorporate other performance measurements of vehicle performance. Weather data from the location when logging data.

Jb4 survey ideas -
02-12-2021, 12:48 PM
I love the jb4 for all of the information and different aspects that is possible and that apply to our cars. However, none of that means nothing if there are no specific directions as to how to operate and what different options mean specifically. Ex.. I have no idea what I am looking at when it comes to the logging results. All I see is pretty colors and a beautiful design. Lol. All I know is that I wanted more speed and I felt like the jb4 could assist with that and I think that a lot of people who purchases the jb4 are in the same boat as me.
All in all, great product. Just need some specific directions and clarification on all icons listed.

id like something simple. Unless you can set it already and i just dont know how.
When im running the gauges and i hit the gas. Id like to see how much i maxed out on the gauge. I cant look at boost while im driving. It would be nice to know what i maxed out at by looking at the gauge. Like mhd does.
Thanks
