Default New Owner - Which hoses should I replace? - 01-03-2020, 04:29 AM

Hi all

I've had my 2007 E92 335i since July. Yesterday I had my water pump and tstat changed but I drove the car home, the upper radiator broke off. Coolant and steam everywhere. Engine was shut off as soon as I heard the pop.

Anyway, I'm having that hose replaced today but can anyone recommend any other hoses to replace in the meantime?

The hose that comes from the front of the head (A little lower and to the left in your picture) and goes to the thermostat housing. I don't think the hose is a huge problem but the plastic fitting with an O-ring that goes into the head likes to break and leak. They also make a metal fitting that you can replace the plastic one with.

your turbo coolant feeds and returns, they get oil on them from valve cover gasket seals and they will fail.
