Hi Buddy!

Really sorry - I've not long started a youtube channel so I've been flat out with filming and editing

I did a bit of a review on the JB4 so you might find it interesting!

the car is booked in for lots of mods over the next few months with stage 2 work being done next week and stage 3+ being the goal a few months down the line, check it out!

Living in Colorado, I can't get 93 Octane. Any concerns about running the following mix on Map 3? If people think it should be ok, I'll do some data logs to confirm.

3.5 gallons of e85 (actual e70 from Kum & Go)
11 gallons of 91 (e10)

based on brewcityboost.com it should give me the following:

14.5 Gallons
93.2 Octane
E24 (24.5% ethanol)

Thanks!

No issues with that at all. Cars at high altitude are less prone to detonation due to the thinner air even though it is compresses when going in.

Majority of the logs we see at high altitude are good year round on 91.

Hi

I ran my first log on Map 1 on my stock 7.5 GTI, FOL set to 50. 3rd gear pull.
Should i really be seeing afr values doing this between 1300 and 2000rpm.
They even out to 13 after this. Fuel trims peaked at 49.

16.9
16.9
17.6
17.3
17.7
16.9
17.6
19.2
3.8
0.3
0.6
18.9

Apologies I tried to post a datazap url but the link didn't work.
I ran a second log and the AFR value was 0 between 1500 and 3700 rpm.

Thanks.

Log is not attached. Can you email it rather to george@burgertuning.com and I can see what its doing. Rather send the csv file instead of a datazap link.

Bump. Also thinking of running Map 5 for my B9 Audi A4. I have E30, down pipe, Air intake, and HFC soon. Do I need an intercooler? I removed the plastic shield on the intercooler since it was blocking 30% of it, and I think it may help with my bolt ons.

Intercooler is recommended especially in summer. Havent seen much logs of the A4 in map 5 so shoot some over to george@burgertuning.com and we can see how things look.

In terms of the autotune it doesnt seem to be something we are going to release. The ECU is very adaptive and does half the work regardless so we cannot find a methodology that will be more beneficial than using the recommended ready maps.

I think it's because the JB4 thread in AudiWorld hasn't been updated in awhile, so not a lot of A4 owners know they can run these additional maps since they probably don't go this forum. But yeah I'll be logging normal driving conditions for now, then when I finish installing my HFC, I'll do more WOT logs. If IATs are too high with map 5, I'll switch back to map 3 until I get an intercooler.

That's good to know, thanks for that update. It makes me feel that we Audi owners isn't missing much then compared to the beamer guys.

On a different note, are you guys thinking of implementing Carplay/Android Auto for the JB4 Mobile?

According to their guidelines our app does not qualify for approval for Carplay or Android. The only way around it is with a app called Carbridge and a jailbroken phone. Lots of info in youtube in that regard.

We need full throttle run. See post 2 of this thread.
Email the csv files of those over to george@burgertuning.com as we dont use datazap.

Sounds good, I'll post full throttle runs when when I get my HFC, which will be in a few days.

I know it's not exactly what your looking for, but I find the running JB4 on my android phone and using the main display for android auto works very well.

Yeah I just mounted my iPhone. That said, I do have a rooted spare Android Phone so hopefully a rooted Android Phone will let me show Jb4 on the MMI. I'd have to buy Jb4 mobile again though...

So I got pretty bored this morning and just for the heck of it, I tried JB4's "Codes" tab. I pressed "Read Code" and it showed a couple of codes:

4DA3: No description found
5A56: No description found

The car runs and drives great. My only issue with the car is that myAudi is saying the sliding sunroof is open even though it is closed. Any ideas what the codes are?
