Pretty sure mine is the same too. Maybe itís due to the distribution of meth? Not ideals spraying through the TB I guess.

Itís why I always run Boostane in main tank to bring up the overall octane of the main tank fuel

I'm talking waaaaaaaay before I installed meth. This was right after I installed the JB4 to log with no other mods. This was even happening on Map 4/0.

The JB4 should be able to get past the fuel cap by raising boost to whatever the turbo will make, your AFR will just be crap without supplemental injection.

Aren't you guys running EWG wires? If not, then you might not be able to boost much over stock. I'd like to hear Terry's input on this one.

Yep I’m using the EWG harness.

As soon as I raise over 40 add my AFR spikes above 15AFR and then the car pulls back. I think that’s the fuel cap and a safety thing for going lean.

Yes, AFR goes over 15 during spool but goes down after a half second or so. The car usually does not feel very fast at first when it's that lean, but it picks up pretty quickly after that.

How long are you going lean for and are you aborting the run before you see how much boost you can reach?

It’s more lean spikes higher up during the run which causes the car to pull back and hesitate, like the car looses 100hp for a moment.

I can send some logs if you PM your email

Looks generally OK to me. If you raised pid gain a bit say to 10 you'd probably make more boost, same goes for FF, but then you may wind up with DME BT moving around causing throttle and tuning issues.

Is there a way for you to post a screenshot of those codes with explanations? I'd prefer not to have to Google each one from my phone.

@Wicked

FF = 0 on your log, on my car with EWG there is FF set by duty bias, and I tuned the FF values so they are just above the WGDC (PWM) near target boost

Have you filled in and tuned your "DUTY BIAS" setting? Almost like you put in all zeros for them?

Figure 1) Wicked log, looks like FF = 0, based on my experience this is not correct, or means that duty bias = 0, EWG may not have any effect or is providing no WG bias

@All

Do you guys also notice that the boost after throttle, "avg ign adv" never goes above 21.3 is that senor or just read back issue?

Look at the flat top in black curve at 21.3 in some of my log below.

Figure 2) my log 50add where I have tuned the FF values

Figure 3) another log with 70 add, showing that "avg ign" or the boost after throttle, flat topped at 21.3 psi, over a wide RPM range, is this anything to worry about or just sensor or FW limitation?

You can that the flat top in black curve at 21.3 here and also example of my FF / PWM curve B58 probably different bias values but should have something
Who are you directing your questions to and which logs are you referring to?

Regarding the "flat readings" in logs, that is when the JB4 is only reading a signal at a certain refresh rate and it is only reading a value once per large time interval. This happens occasionally and not for all parameters being logged. So other parameters are being refreshed, but not all. Basically, when you see something flat like that, everything in between the start and end points are not accurate. The JB4 is just not receiving a signal during that time.

Also, please try to proof read your posts because we get really confused when words are missing

I've been running E40, boost juice, and up to a 50 add recently without issue. Logs look good.

I'm waiting until I run out of boost juice to put E85 in the meth tank. Almost out, should be this week.
