Default Stalling After New LPFP - 12-04-2021, 05:54 AM

My stock LPFP was starting to squeal so I took the opportunity to upgrade it to a Walbro 525. I got it installed today and verified all connections.

I was driving for about three hours today and was parked with the motor running for about 10 minutes when the car stalled. It fired right back up but then eventually stalled again. It became increasingly more difficult to keep it running until it got to the point where it could not be driven, so I called a tow truck.

I just tore it back part to verify everything and everything looks good. I put it back together and it started fine. I was listening to the pump while writing this post when it stalled again.

What’s the best path to troubleshooting this? router login 192.168.l.l

I just went thru this w my Walbro 535. For me it was the additional hose needed wasn't correct. Beefed up the hose to a 3/8 225psi e85 rather than the crap I got from a auto store. So far so good.

Also something to look out for is if your ekp is getting hot. Mine doesn't but some folks have had issues and had to upgrade ekp as well.

Any codes?
