Where in FL are you? I found a station in Clermont (Mobil off US-27 and FL-50), where the E85 is $1.90 less than Premium, $3.55 vs $5.45, and the E85 tested right at 85% ethanol today. Best I've seen in ages. Wish I had a drum with me to fill, cause its like an hour drive to get there.

We are in Bonita Springs(North Naples). There is a Marathon station at Rt. 41 and Corkscrew Rd that has E85 and some other E fuels, E30 and something else, will check. Thinking I will fill with about 6 gallons E85 and the remainder with 93 octane to get to around E30 as the calculator shows for a 22 gallon tank. I do not have the JB4 installed as of yet.
Wondering if I will be safe to run map 2 with an E85/93oct mix yielding approx E30. '21 M50i with no other mods other than the charcoal filter panels ditched.

That should be fine. I ran Map 2 with just drop ins and E30. It was slower than Map 1, but it ran okay. High boost, low timing. Not ideal, but okay.

Yeah, I saw that in some one else's post on the subject also.
Thinking of just running JB4 Map 1 with OBD connection using 93 octane and not bothering with all the logging and bluetooth stuff that I am not good at all.

Draggy is in -

I plan to try and make a few 100-200 and 60-130 runs in the morning. I just filled up with straight shell 100 octane race gas. I am really interested in results after my Dyno. Il keep everyone posted.

The dyno results you posted here are outstanding Man. Your bolt ons appear to work exceptionally well in concert with Map 1.

First time Draggy Run -
07-10-2022, 06:42 AM
It's Sunday and the AutoBahn is packed. I got a few 100 to 200 kph runs in however most were trash because I couldn't get up to speed...slow people!
Anyways, one of the better ones i wanted to post. 7.80 from 100 to 200 but even this was still in heavy traffic. I didn't want to post it but I told everyone I would. Anyhow. Racechip showed a 100 to 200 at 7.60 so i was expecting something like this.
Anyhow, il go out early next Sonntag and make a few more runs. Oh apparently i was on a incline. Let me know of any special setup t make this as accurate as possible.

Do you have any idea or a reasonable guess at how much of this performance improvement could be realized with just the Jb4 on Map 1 with stock intake and no aftermarket down pipes. Your 100-200km time is around a 2 second improvement, huge.

My guess -
07-11-2022, 06:21 AM
First i had a full tank of Shell 100 octane. I should have had 1/4 tank of Ariel 102 octane...won't make this mistake again.
As for the performance. I just received draggy in the mail so I can't answer before D.p and after however my butt Dyno and improved cooling through less heat due to D.Ps helps to assume the improvement is significant. My fan doesn't even turn on when parking anymore... Well it has like once.
I will say intakes made the car respond better though the HP improvement wasn't much. At a stop light intake temps are around 90 and as i hit the gas the temps drop to mid 70s or whatever the external air if but they are utilizing the air tunnels.
Anyways, go buy D.Ps if you have the money not hard to install as i did it all myself.
I hope this helps.

Well boys -
07-12-2022, 01:49 AM
I knew I could do better if race chip was claiming 7.60 in the 100-200 sprint.
This morning I had less traffic but still had to cross from far right lane to far left. I cant wait to see the numbers on a straight shot. I had a little less than 3/4 tank of gas but still 100 octane. I want a 1/4 tank of 102 octane and a straight run with temps about 20cel. I can hit 7.4 I bet with this set up.
Oh, this was on the same Autobahn entry point as my last run.

And you're running 100+ octane with full Bolt ONS? Or just a can of octane booster?

It is normal to be to rude? I am obviously posting this because you said post your draggy results so here you go.. If I was hating I would of posted them without you asking on your thread or I would of called your times slow, anyways try +5.2 psi across the board and see what your results are
