Lots of problem on newer Minis here in Italy, i think there should be some software incompatibility with them.
Please try to consider a little bit more this section, it seems like you really don't care about Mini side

Anyone on here running meth?
Probably going to order a kit this week. I was wondering what settings you run with and where the nozzle is mounted.

Thanks.

Default FLEX FUEL HELP NEEDED. B48 Mini - 06-30-2018, 04:35 AM

I have the jb4 installed for my 2015 Mini Cooper S. I purchased the bluetooth module and the Flex Fuel connector. I spent two days researching before sending this post, the FF connector that I received has a green and black wire with pins at the end. Where do they connect into the JB4?

So what im asking is the green pin goes into slot_______
and the black pin goes into slot_______ in the AMP25?

Burger has no instructions anywhere stating that.

For the fuel pressure connector? Green goes to 21.

reset DME
1)JB4 must be set at map Zero (0) not 4 or any other map
2)You enter and turn the Electrics not the engine so gear in neutral and foot off the brake or clutch
3)As soon all have turn on you step on the gas pedal all the way down and you hold for 30 seconds by the clock. Monitor the time by setting your phones timer or stopwatch feature to accomplish that.
4)As soon the 30 secs have passed without releasing the gas pedal turn off the electrics. When that is accomplished release the pedal and wait for 2 mins. Dont lock the doors
In a rather quite environment and performed correctly you may hear a hard drive buzz going on within those 2 mins of waiting.
you are done!

method B if you have carly it does it
Method C ISTA i think or similar software via obd

I tried the above method but didn't hear any activity. I will try it again later today.
I also have CarlyBMW but cannot find the option anywhere. Have you done it via Carly?

Removed my tune and back to stock map.

Does our JB4 Support auto clearing code for no ***?
Or do we need to manually clear each time?

Anyone else noticed boost safety change from 22 to 21 on the user settings? It wouldn’t allow anything more than 21.

Terry

I am interested in getting a JB4 for my 2017 MINI Cooper S (F57). I wanted to make sure I am ordering the correct parts I want and need. About the car, like I mentioned its a F57 MINI Cooper S, I have had the JCW Tuning Kit installed (Bluetooth controlled exhaust and Tune).

I am interested in the JB4 kit, and I would like to add the Phone/Bluetooth interface. So so far in the cart I have:

JB4 Smart Phone Wireless Connect Kit (Rev. 3.6)
MINI B38/B46/B48 JB4 BETA w/ BMS DATA cable Combo

The car is an Automatic so getting the cable through the firewall does not appear to be a problem for the USB data cable and the OBDII pass through. I am assuming that the USB connection cable will not be able to be connected at the same time as the Smart Phone BT link?

I would like to get the Stage 2 Board and the FlexFuel connector, I am in Florida and E85 is available in some areas, what do I need to get this map and connection added to my order.

I dont have Water Meth on this MINI (yet) but I do have a Howerton/Aquamist on my R53 2006 MINI a really nice kit to have here in extremely hot central Florida.

No USB and Bluetooth at the same time. The items in your cart is all you need. Don't think the flex fuel connector is really used on this car yet.

Terry

Thanx for the answers I went ahead and ordered the JB4 Kit with the cable, the BT adapter and the Flex Fuel connector kit yesterday.

I am going to go ahead and run the USB wire/adapter at the time of install even if it can not be attached at the same time so if I need it its there for update. I plan on doing my best to hide the unit and wiring so it will make it so I dont have to dig out the box too much.

Would the 2017 F57 Motor be the same and the 2017, 2018 and 2019 F56 Motor?

Oh I got my tracking info today so my parts are on the way.

Cooper
