That is if you have an upgraded turbo.
What year is your car?
What fuel are you using?
What mods do you have?

Start with the EWG Pump flash. Run a bunch of logs on map 1. If clean run map 2. If still clean flash the EWG Race flash. And repeat. If map 2 is still clean try out map 5 for a bit and decide if you prefer it or map 2.

From what I understand, you would need a different vendor/tuner to provide a customer bef beyond what BMS offers. You can create custom Jb4 settings via nap 6.

BEF files -
03-07-2022, 01:18 PM
I see the option of PWG3_Race_IGN now when flashing with MHD… what uses is this “IGN” file intended for?
I’ve seen a few people ask this and still have yet to get a reply. Also is there any difference between the PWG1/2/3 races files or all these the same?
I recently flashed this IGN map with the new MHD “brap” and anti lag and my car literally won’t pull. Just bogs down bad when launching then seems to go into limp mode. Taking these ricer settings off asap and taking a log. Also had an open thermostat code after the re flash, thought that was odd, could hear the cooling system going full blast. cleared code and problem went away …

The IGN BEF runs more timing advance for those on higher octane via WMI, race gas, or E85.
For anti-lag I'd have to see the log myself for advice on that.

Same issue here... no boost or fluctuating low boost up until 3200RPMs... then eventually will get a "Powertrain Malfunction.... " message...how did you fix it?

I plugged the stock ewg harness back but now I'm wondering if it was the harness or the Wastegate itself is the issue but I haven't had the drive train issue since

I've just flashed the latest F Series N55 PWG1 Race, which is the one I've always used to use, no Turbo Lag option on the MHD... its raining hard here so no chance to log it now. Will so ASAP. Thanks all!

Fuel pump priming after BEF -
04-22-2022, 09:12 AM
I have a n55 35i x1 and flashed the Backend Flash for use with the JB4. This is the pump flash file.
I noticed that my low pressure fuel pump is not priming anymore when I open a door or unlock the car.
Is this normal and suppose to happen with this flash?
Thanks
